Dorothy J. (Crocker) Paulsen

6/6/28 – 9/3/17


Born to George and Alma (Millhouse) Crocker on their farm near ClearLake, So. Dak. The family later moved to Goodwin, So. Dak. where she and her siblings attended a one room country school till the 9th grade. She graduated from High School in Goodwin in a class of 12.

She was married to Ellsworth (Pete) Paulsen in 1947. They had two daughters Linda Kane-Bosshart (David Bosshart) and Anita Waiss (Mike Waiss). The family moved to Tacoma, Wa. in 1962.

Dorothy worked at Western Auto in Puyallup till its closing, then worked at Ernst Hardware till her retirement.

Dorothy is predeceased by Ellsworth, her sisters Rose Meyer; Portland, Oregon, Laura Willis; Tacoma, Washington and brother George Crocker; Goodwin, So. Dak. Grandsons Jeffrey Kane and Jeremy Fletcher both of Tacoma, Wa. and her parents George and Alma Crocker; Goodwin, So. Dak.

She leaves behind her sister Betty Crocker; Portland, Oregon, her two daughters and their husbands and her Great Granddaughter Miranda Alto.

At her request there will be no Memorial service.
